Adults at College
Full diagnostic assessments are available for adults of all ages and our assessors are experienced in working with mature students.

Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) can provide significant support for students of all ages; this is in the form of assistive technology and a specialist tutor. This helps to compensate for the additional challenges dyslexic students face during undergraduate life. The specialist tutor helps with structuring essays and reports; they also teach proof reading skills and revision techniques.

It is preferable to seek a diagnosis prior to applying for Access to Work so that an accurate assessment of your needs can be identified. A diagnosis may be offered by your employer under the UK's Equality Act (2010).
Free Telephone Screening
Screening allows you to discuss the difficulties which are causing concern with a specialist. The screening process identifies whether a formal dyslexia assessment is appropriate; this ensures that only those with clear dyslexic tendencies are considered.
Dyslexia Assessments
Assessments are undertaken predominantly online. This is carried out in two sessions lasting approximately one and a half hours each. both sessions take place on the same day, the first in the morning, and another in the afternoon. After the assessment, there is a further hour to feedback the results. This ensures you understand your individual learning profile including both strengths and weaknesses.
