2. Learning2Succeed reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time by posting changes online. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of this agreement as modified by the posted changes.

3.2. Documents on the site may not be downloaded, altered or adapted for any purpose, except for personal, non-commercial use. Prior written permission from Learning2Succeed is required for all other use.

11. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising here from shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. If these Terms and Conditions are not accepted in full, the use of this site must be terminated immediately.

13. Cancellation Policy

  • All changes and cancellations must be notified in writing to info@learning2Succeed.co.uk at least 7 days before appointment date. We reserve the right to levy a £50 charge to cover meeting room hire and administrative expenses if notified less than 7 days.  

  • Full payment by individuals is due 24 hours prior to the service being provided

  • No tuition fee or booking fee will be refunded if we receive less than 24hours notice of cancellation 

  • If payment is not received 24 hours prior to the service being provided then we reserve the right to cancel your booking. 

  • Full payment by companies is due within 28 days of the invoice date

14. Complaints Procedure

  • From time to time things may go wrong. It is our aim to ensure that making a complaint is as easy as possible. Any clear expression of dissatisfaction with our service which requests a response, will be identified as a complaint.

  • Learning2Succeed undertakes to handle complaints in a professional and non-confrontational manner.

  • Should you wish to raise concerns please contact us as soon as possible us on 07717473048, or email us at info@learning2Succeed.co.uk and we will do everything in our power to resolve the problem.

  • We reserve the right to decline to consider a complaint that is made more than six months after you became aware of the cause of the complaint.

  • We will try to answer your e-mail within 24 hours. However, at busier times this may not always be possible.​

  • Caren Taylor, the proprietor, will be the person handling the complaint and although the complaint may be in respect of a decision which she took, she undertakes to investigate it thoroughly

  • Learning4Success will send you a written or electronic acknowledgement within five business days of receipt of a complaint

  • Within four weeks of receiving a complaint, we will send you either:

    • A final response which adequately addresses the complaint; or

    • A holding response, which explains why we are not yet able to resolve the complaint and indicates when we will make further contact with you

  • Within eight weeks of receiving a complaint, Learning4Success will send you either:

    • A final response which adequately addresses the complaint; or

    • A response which explains why we are still not able to make a final response, giving reasons for the further delay and indicating when we expect to be able to provide a final response

Who we are

Learning2Succeed offers diagnostic assessment, exam arrangements, specialist tuition and mentoring to people with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD). We also offer services such as assessment for examination access arrangement on school premises. Our mission is to help people with SpLD succeed in their education and workplace by empowering them to identify their strengths and weaknesses, whilst creating successful compensatory strategies. Learning2Succeed is owned by Caren J Taylor, I am a sole trader who contracts in administrative support.

How we use your personal information

This notice explains how we promise to look after your personal information, which includes:

a) what you tell us about yourself

b) what we learn by having you as a client

c) the choices you give us about what business information you want us to send you

It also tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

How the law protects you

As well as our Privacy Promise, your privacy is protected by law. This section explains how that works.

Data Protection law says that we are allowed, to use personal information, only if we have a legitimate reason to do so. This includes sharing it outside Learning2Succeed.

A legitimate interest is when we have a business or legal reason to use your information. But even then, it must not unfairly go against what is right and best for you. If we rely on our legitimate interest, we will tell you what that is.

During Covid-19, measures have been taken to make Assessments possible completely online. For online assessments, it will be necessary for your data to be stored on the Q-Global platform.

This is used to assist in diagnostic decisions in conjunction with raw assessment data and may be recorded on the raw data sheets and the background questionnaire submitted. When conducting assessments for Access Arrangements on school premises, it is the schools’ responsibility to ensure that students and/or their parents have consented to provide personal and sensitive information to Learning2Succeed as an outside agency.

Sensitive personal information is required for diagnostic assessments reports to fulfil our contract to clients.

The Professional Association recommends that Background Information is collected from clients and retained for audit purposes for a minimum of 6 years beyond the clients’ 18th birthday.

Specialist tutoring and mentoring sessions are based on a personal profile of strengths and weaknesses. Compensatory strategies are developed from assessment data, background information and anecdotal evidence which is recorded in note format.

Sensitive personal data will only be kept for the duration of the contract.

It is our legal duty that Learning2succeed retains test data for the duration of the examination cycle for inspection by exam boards.

Informal and formal assessment data and personal information provided during tutoring and mentoring sessions is used to inform the students’ individualised lesson plan.

To complete accurate invoicing and Tax records. Personal data within financial records will be stored for a maximum of three years to fulfil the audit requirements of HMRC.

Learning2Succeed store Personal Data online using Microsoft OneDrive and Adobe, which are reputable online storage systems. These Cloud storage systems may store data outside the EU.

How long we keep your personal information

We will keep your personal information for as long as you are a client of Learning2Succeed. After you stop being a client, we may keep your data for up to 10 years for one of these reasons:

  • to respond to any questions or complaints

  • to show that we treated you fairly

  • to maintain records according to rules that apply to us

We may keep your data for longer than 10 years if we cannot delete it for legal, regulatory or technical reasons.

Marketing
