I am a qualified assessor of Specific Learning Difficulties having completed a level 7 course with Dyslexia Action and have an Assessment Practising Certificate. My professional mebership includes both the Dyslexia Guild and Patoss.

I have been qualified as a primary school teacher since 1998 and have worked across the school from Early Years to Year 6. I have spent the last 10 years working at a school where I am both a class teacher and SENDCo.

I am passionate about finding the right support for children at the right time. I fully believe that early identification and timely intervention are key to enabling all children to reach their potential. I thoroughly enjoy building relationships with children and appreciate the importance of involving parents in planning and reviewing any support, assessment, or intervention.

As a mum of an autistic teenager, I understand the worry and frustration of having to work with/against a system which is overloaded and seemingly unsympathetic. I like to be able to offer a high quality service for children and young people who potentially have specific learning difficulties, offering advice and support whether or not a diagnosis is made.

I am offering online dyslexia assessments to children of all ages as a professional associate of Learning2Succeed.
